CATALINA POLLAK Dipl Arch, MA, MArch, is an architect and artist working and living in London. After finishing her M.Arch at the Architectural Association (AA_DRL 2010) she briefly joined Zaha-Hadid Architects for a year. With the support of the Centre for Creative Collaboration (C4CC), University of London, she is currently developing a cross-disciplinary project that uses interactive systems to address questions about public art, spatial narratives and public engagement. Catalina undertook her Diploma of Architecture at Universidad Católica de Chile (2001), and later studied an MA in Visual Arts at Universidad de Chile (2006-2007). Involved constantly in Academia, she has taught architecture undergraduates at Universidad Católica (2008) and Universidad Andres Bello (2005) before coming to London. Lately she has been invited as visiting critic at the AA and at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Cataluña (IACC), co-tutored a DRL workshop at the Architecture Association, and lectured a interdisciplinary seminar about Spatial Practices at IP Arcos, Chile. Her work as an artist has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums in her home country.
